Definitions of what a ferret does:
"To drive out, as from a hiding place; expel.""To hound or harry persistently; worry.""To search intensively."
We and our children (pics coming soon) are getting tired of the ways in which our privacy is being broken every day in the name of profit.
You may ask yourself "How does breaking privacy = Profit?"
This is a good question.....
There are websites out there that collect information from many different sources, most say that the sources are "public" although due to some information available we do wonder, and then compile this information in such a way as if someone knows your name, email address, telephone number, or nearly any other piece of what we call "starter information" they can collect large amounts of information on YOU.
Once such websites have collected this information, they will then provide it to ANYONE for a small fee.
Some of the information that these sites show at one time in the past required police with a warrant to be able to obtain however these sites now make it available to anyone, regardless of if you want the information to be available or not.
In most cases YOU may not even be aware that such information is being made PUBLICLY available since they do NOT notify you that they are showing such information.
In a lot of cases, these sites themselves, are actually breaking privacy laws.
The amazing thing is however, that in a lot of cases, while the owners of these sites are showing your information, they themselves will go to great lengths to hide their information.
Our mission statement:
We will find these sites that are breaking privacy laws, make the public aware that their information is being made available to anyone by these sites, and then for those sites that "hide" their information we will "ferret out" their HIDDEN information and then make the information available so that YOU can be able to get your information removed from such sites, as well as bring legal action if needed.
